We have been anxiously waiting to share this beautiful session since the day we captured it! We spent a gorgeous sun drenched day in mid October with this amazing pair! Alyssa and Brian wanted their engagement session to stand out! Our first stop lead us to the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri. The many acres of enchanted gardens had us feeling like we were in the middle of a fairytale. The gardens set the scene for a sweet and romantic session! Next on our agenda, we headed across town to Lafayette Square; a beautiful masterpiece of a garden tucked within intricate black metal gates. Lafayette Square provides endless picture perfect backdrops. We enjoyed strolling around the gardens in St. Louis with Alyssa and Brian. We couldn’t get enough of Brian’s sense of humor! He’s quite the comedian and kept the mood light and fun during the entire session. Together, Alyssa and Brian are such an adorable pair! We couldn’t be more excited for their upcoming destination wedding!
When Alyssa first mentioned that she would like us to document the wedding day, we were over the moon excited! I have known Alyssa for several years now. When I moved back to the Jefferson City area, I was immediately in search for a new hair stylist. As fate would have it, I was lead to Alyssa! She is one of the most sweet and down to earth people I have the pleasure of meeting. After all these years, she’s still the only one I trust to cut and style my hair! We are ecstatic for the opportunity to capture Alyssa and Brian’s sweet love story!
Their love story first began in the fall of 2011 after meeting one another online. Soon after meeting, Brian invited Alyssa on a first date to his home. His impressive chef skills allowed him to prepare a wonderful meal for the two of them to enjoy. Alyssa says that after Brian met her family, she knew he was the ONE! After sharing over five years together, Brian decided to pop the question! While visiting Florida together on a summer family vacation, Brian planned a special proposal on the beach in Perdido Key. While capturing family portraits, Brian knelt down on one knee and proposed to Alyssa!
