We met up with Kylie and Wes for a short but sweet engagement session this past weekend! We love everything about this romantic christmas tree farm session. Kylie and Wes are sweet as can be and the connection they share is so evident! Wes has no trouble making Kylie’s eyes and smile light up when he’s around. The day was chilly and dreary with no sunshine in sight, but these two knew just what to do for some great portraits. They had no problem cuddling up for sweet romantic portraits. We love how cozy and in love they looked the entire time! You can never go wrong with the picture perfect scenery that is Timber View Tree Farm. It’s such a fun spot for holiday sessions.
Their Love Story
Kylie and Wes met when they were just children at the young age of ten; however, they never talked much at the time. It wasn’t until their Freshman year of high school that the two would meet again. They were destined to become best friends. A high school math class would bring them together and their chemistry was instant. They made it through the school year spending a lot of time together. Kylie knew she was interested in Wes as more than just a friend and she hoped he felt the same. When May rolled around and their freshman year had ended, Kylie and Wes set up an official first date with one another. Being so young and still unable to drive, they planned for a “date” at her parents house where they would watch a movie. Kylie remembers all the emotions hitting her at once and she became so nervous about the date. She loved their friendship and she didn’t want to mess anything up with Wes. She just knew in her heart they were meant to be and she felt that a relationship with him would soon blossom! Things worked just as Kylie had hoped, and they began dating that summer! Kylie and Wes dated all throughout high school and defied the odds of young love! Kylie knew she wanted to marry Wes because he had been around so long, she couldn’t imagine her life without him in it.
How He Asked
Kylie and Wes traveled to Branson, Missouri this past summer for a getaway with his family. Wes informed Kylie they would doing a photoshoot with the family and later attending a nice dinner! Kylie got all dressed up for the photoshoot. During the session, the photographer took group photos of the entire family and eventually would take some of just Kylie and Wes together. It was during that time that Wes would pop the question and ask for Kylie’s hand in marriage! Everything finally made sense, because she remembered Wes being very nervous and she couldn’t figure out why. She of course said “Yes!” The two are happily engaged with a wedding set for March! We are so excited for these two! We cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them! Congratulations Kylie and Wes! We hope you share many happy years together!
