Mr. & Mrs. Burlbaw | Wardsville, Missouri Wedding

A picture perfect day from start to finish was shared by Chelsea and Sam.  Beautiful sunny weather with perfect temperatures, a darling couple so in love, and Pinterest-worthy details made this wedding day extra special!  After we met with Chelsea and her mom last fall, we were worried that their wedding day might be too cold for a lot of portraits outside since the last weekend in October last year was particularly cold, we are talking 28 degrees cold.  We were crossing our fingers and hoping for nicer weather this year, and we were blessed with just that!  We think it’s safe to say that Chelsea and Sam have a lot of loved ones looking out for them upstairs, because you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Our day began at Capital Bluffs, a beautiful new venue in Jefferson City, just across the Missouri river bridge.  This place is stunning!  It was a great location for Chelsea and Sam, along with the bridal party to get ready for the big day.  The venue boasts two custom getting ready rooms for the bride and groom.  The bridal room is very romantic with the soft color pallet and elaborate furniture, making you feel like you are in a dream. The space is large and inviting with many mirrors for ladies to use.  The room is  absolutely perfect with an elegant yet rustic feel.  It matched Chelsea’s theme to a tee.  We loved photographing all of Chelsea’s lovely details.  You can tell she put a lot of thought into the entire day with no aspect going unnoticed.  She might be one of the most organized brides we have ever seen.  She thought of literally everything.  From handwritten notes to her mom and Sam’s mom, gifts for all those who helped make their day special, and every detail in between, Chelsea had the day looking like it belonged on Pinterest.  We loved her Elegant details paired with the more rustic details.  Everything went together perfectly.  Her fresh fall floral bouquet had us swooning all day!

It is obvious that Chelsea and her mom share a very special relationship and we loved capturing their sweet bond.  The morning went smooth as can be, and before we knew it, the time had come to get Chelsea in her wedding gown.  Such a sweet moment to witness as Chelsea’s mom fastened each button to complete her daughter’s look.  Chelsea looked absolutely stunning and she was beaming with pure happiness as she glanced at herself in the mirror.  She wanted to reveal her bridal look to her bridesmaids.  The door opened up and the girls walked in the getting ready room one by one with the biggest smiles on their faces as they saw Chelsea as a bride for the first time on the wedding day.  Hugs were shared and tears were shed as everyone gathered around Chelsea.  Everyone was excited for what was to come!

As the time neared one o’clock, everyone headed to the church for the ceremony.  Chelsea was all smiles as her  dad escorted her down the aisle towards Sam.  As soon as he saw his beautiful bride, he couldn’t help but to smile.  They shared in a traditional catholic ceremony at St. Stanislaus Church with their family and friends in attendance.  As they were pronounced husband and wife, they shared a sweet kiss and happily made their way back down the aisle as family and friends cheered them along.

We spent the afternoon photographing the bridal party and bride and groom portraits around Wardsville.  They are such a fun group of people and we loved every second we had with them all! Chelsea and Sam are such an adorable couple. After their engagement session last fall, we knew their day would be nothing short of amazing!  The way they are with one another is cute as can be!  They both light up when they are in each others presence and its the sweetest thing to witness.  Both Chelsea and Sam make each other laugh at any given moment.  It’s evident that they share a love so true!  They perfectly compliment one another and it’s so great to see!  We know these two will do amazing things as husband and wife.  They are so lucky to have such loving family and friends.  Everyone in attendance of their day was so happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Burlbaw.  They danced the night away at the newly renovated Lions Club in Wardsville and fun was had by all!  It was the perfect way to end a spectacular day.

The day was amazing in every single way!  We have LOVED working with this sweet pair and their welcoming family and friends and we are so excited to share a peek into their gorgeous fall day.

Congratulations Chelsea and Sam! We wish you two many happy years together!  We cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you. Enjoy reliving your BEST day! Thank you again for trusting us to capture your wedding day memories.
