Mr. & Mrs. LeMay | Seven Spring Winery Wedding

Seven-Springs-Winery-Wedding

I’ve known Caralee since she was in kindergarten when she became friends with my younger sister.  Over the years, she pretty much became a bonus sister in our household.  So when Caralee and Kyle asked me to photograph their very special day, I was over the moon in excitement.  Caralee and Kyle were finally married on August 1 at Seven Springs Winery with their closest family and friends in attendance!  They were originally planning to get married at the end of May this year, but because of the pandemic, they decided to postpone.  We’d say it was definitely worth the wait because their day couldn’t have been more perfect from beginning to end!  When we arrived to the venue, we were immediately blown away at the gorgeous setting.  The venue is nestled on a hill top overlooking acres of vineyards.  Rolling hills and surrounding trees make this property a breathtaking scene!

We began the day with Caralee’s pretty bridal details.  Every bridal piece she picked out was perfect and tied everything together so well.   As we photographed the details, the bridal getting ready room was full of laughter and cheer as all the girls prepared for the day.  Music filled the room and the sound of champagne bottles popping, coupled with cheering from the girls, made the morning a fun one!  Once hair and make up was complete, Caralee and her bridesmaids had a quick champagne toast that ended with a confetti pop!  Cheering once again filled the room as the loud pop of confetti surprised them all.  The fun and excitement of preparing for the day was nearing to an end, and it was finally time to get Caralee in her wedding gown.  As she pulled the gorgeous lace wedding gown off the hanger, her mom was smiling in excitement.  Caralee slipped into the gown and her mom had her fastened into the gown in no time at all.  Touches of jewelry were added  and a veil finished off the bridal look.  Caralee looked absolutely stunning.  Her mom became emotional as they hugged.  She whispered some advice in Caralee’s ear telling her to “always be happy!”

In a nearby room, Kyle and his groomsmen were also preparing for the day!  Kyle’s mom Jori helped him with the finishing touches of his look.  As the boutonnière was pinned in place, Kyle became excited for his first look with Caralee.  We lead him under an arbor where he anxiously waited for his beautiful bride to arrive.  A few minutes later, Caralee glided up the sidewalk looking perfect as can be.  She paused and took a deep breath before ultimately walking towards Kyle and tapping him on the shoulder.  As Kyle spun around to see his bride, he smiled so big and exclaimed how beautiful Caralee looked in her dress.  The moment was short but sweet!  We spent the remainder of the afternoon photographing bride and groom portraits along with bridal party portraits.  It was a hot and humid day, but everyone was so nice and worked with us to get the shots we needed.

The day was moving along perfectly and the time for the ceremony was just around the corner.  At 4pm the music began to play and one by one the bridal attendants made their way down the aisle.  Kyle’s dad officiated the ceremony, which was a sweet and sentimental touch.  He motioned for guests to rise to their feet.  The doors were opened, and in walked Caralee and her mom.   She glided down the aisle effortlessly as the music played.  Kyle couldn’t help but smile so big once again as he saw his bride walking towards him.  The ceremony was short and sweet and included funny stories about the couple.  After rings and vows were exchanged, Kyle’s dad pronounced them husband and wife and they sealed the deal with a kiss.  An excited pair made their way back down the aisle looking giddy as ever.

We joined the bride and groom once again for a few more portraits outside in the beautiful golden light before heading inside for the reception to begin.   The DJ announced the wedding party in one couple at a time, each with their own entrance song.  As Caralee and Kyle walked in, guests cheered and applauded the happy couple!  The night was full of laughter, good food, and dancing.  Caralee even surprised her mom with the sweetest mother daughter dance that had family and friends emotional!  Guests looked to be having a great time on the dance floor all evening long.  As the night came to a close, the remaining guests joined outside to send off Caralee and Kyle with a sparkler exit.  It was the perfect way to end a perfect day!  Kyle and Caralee are a darling pair!   We love their goofiness around one another.  We cannot wait to see where this journey leads them.  Caralee and Kyle, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for trusting us to document day one of your marriage!  We adore you two as a couple and know only great things are in store for you as you begin this beautiful new journey as husband and wife!  Enjoy some of our favorites from the day!
