Abby and Austin tied the knot in St. Thomas, Missouri with a reception following at the hall. Their close family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple on October 13. The day was dreary and cold, but Abby and Austin, along with their vibrant colored florals, brightened up the day! Our day began just like any other wedding day with the details! Abby’s dad was amazing and did anything and everything to make our job easy! He graciously opened up his home to accommodate our team for the morning! It’s not every wedding day that you’re blessed with a father of the bride who is so willing to help make the day run smoothly.
Once Abby returned home from the salon, her mom helped her into her gown and what a sweet moment it was! Abby shares a special relationship with her dad, so it only made sense to share a first look with him before seeing her groom! Abby’s dad anxiously waited for her to tap his shoulder, and when she finally did, he turned around to see his daughter looking absolutely radiant! He embraced her with a big hug and was grinning from ear to ear. We knew it was going to be hard for her dad to officially give his little girl away at the ceremony. We love the sweet bond these two share and we are so glad we could capture such a sentimental moment. Next, it was Austin’s turn to see his bride, and man was he nervous. He stood at the end of the pavement path waiting for Abby. I don’t think we have ever seen a groom be so nervous on a wedding day. As soon as he saw Abby for the first time, his eyes lit up in excitement. We knew this first look was everything he needed to calm his nerves just before the ceremony.
Church bells began to sound at one o’clock and the organist played wedding melodies as the bridal party made their way down the aisle one by one. The ushers opened the beautiful church doors and the priest gestured for everyone to rise to their feet. Escorted by her father, Abby made her way to Austin with the biggest smile on her face. As soon as Austin saw her walking down the aisle, he couldn’t help but smile! They shared in a traditional catholic ceremony with a full mass. After rings and vows were exchanged, they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Otto, and the happy couple made their way past family and friends who cheered them on!
Abby and Austin are quite honestly one of the sweetest pairs! We love how they perfectly fit into one another’s lives. They compliment one another so well. Austin is such an even keeled guy and Abby perfectly balances him out with her fun spirit! These high school sweethearts have already shared many happy years together. We are so excited to see where this life takes them! We know great things are in store for them! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Otto!! We loved celebrating with you on day one of your marriage!
