Happy Friday! I’m over the moon in excitement to share this romantic #LittlepineykindofLove styled shoot with you all! There is something special about taking part in shoots that rejuvenate your soul and make your heart truly happy! This shoot was one of those that ignited my passion and made me smile realizing how great it is when photographers can come together as a community instead of competing. Last week, I had the pleasure of coming together with many St. Louis, central Missouri + a few out of state photographers for a beautifully styled summer themed wedding hosted by Emily Broadbent Photography. Emily and the creative team had such a perfect vision when planning this styled shoot-out. Vibrant blooms brought this summer themed shoot to life! All of the details were gorgeous!
The family style table was full of decadent appetizers, savory sides, and sweet treats. This table looked as if it was straight out of a magazine. Floral blooms were strung above the table giving it such a whimsical and romantic feel! Transparent glass plates revealed the 5 star menu options for the evening dinner. There definitely wasn’t a lack in details to photograph on this table! Everyone joined around the family style table for an intimate dinner after a sweet toast with the bride and groom! If only I could eat dinner like this every night of the week! It was just so nice to be surrounded by like-minded people as we all relaxed and gushed about the over the top tablescape.
We had all been anticipating what was to come after dinner! As the light began to dip lower and became perfect and glowy, we headed up the road to a breathtaking location. We were met with a gorgeous view of rolling hills, where a first look with our bride and groom would take place. The Little Piney Lodge in Hermann, Missouri provided the perfect backdrop for the model bride and groom. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect models to work with! Madi and her sweet hubby were celebrating 4 years of marriage bliss on the day of the shoot-out and it showed! These two knew exactly what to do to help everyone create amazing portraits. They are both such naturals in front of the camera and took direction so well! There is no question that Madi and Colin are madly in love and oh so smitten with one another.
We ended the day on a high note with a romantic canoe waiting for Madi and Colin. Flower petals were scattered across the water and floating candles made this last styled event an absolute dream! Colin paddled the canoe around the lake as he and Madi giggled and laughed! The day passed by in a flurry of excitement and I was so sad to see it come to a close. I’m so grateful for everyone and all the hard work that went into planning this styled shoot out for local photographers. It was truly the best day to reset and realize I’m doing exactly what I’m meant to do! Enjoy some of my favorites from this over the top, whimsical, yet elegant styled shoot-out!
