Katy and Josh’s wedding day at Kleffner Valley was one of those autumn days that instantly brings a smile to your face! The valley was glowing with golden and orange trees, the November breeze was soft, and the entire venue felt calm and full of excitement. As soon as we arrived, we knew it was going to be a beautiful, joy filled day!

Up in the gorgeous bridal suite, Katy and her bridesmaids were getting ready with such ease. The atmosphere felt peaceful and happy with music filling the air, makeup brushes moving, everyone chatting and smiling. Meanwhile, we documented their reception details and Katy’s bridal details downstairs, soaking up all the elegant touches. Their rich green color palette and those extravagant floral bouquets were absolutely stunning and added such a vibrant, earthy feel to their fall celebration!

Katy surprised her bridesmaids with the sweetest jewelry gifts, and the girls handed her a heartfelt card filled with love notes. Glasses of bubbly clinked together, laughter filled the room, and the girls giggled in their matching wedding day PJs. Katy’s mom looked on with so much pride, her eyes soft, glowing, and ready for the moment her little girl became a bride!

Katy took a quiet moment to admire her gown hanging gracefully against the window, the most elegant ball gown with delicate details that sparkled in the light. With the help of her mom, she slipped into it, smiling the entire time. Once the last button was fastened, Katy added her grandmother’s pearls, dainty earrings, and a cathedral length veil that cascaded behind her like a dream. The transformation was breathtaking! She radiated pure joy.

We invited the bridesmaids in for a reveal, and as soon as they turned around, the room instantly erupted with cheers, squeals, happy screams, and so much excitement! Their reactions said everything, Katy was truly a beautiful bride!

Next was a special first look with her dad and brother. They waited outside the venue’s front doors, standing side by side with anticipation written all over them. When Katy tapped their shoulders, they turned around with the biggest smiles, both visibly moved and so excited for her! She beamed right back at them. It was one of the sweetest moments of the entire day.

The afternoon gave us perfect temperatures as we documented bridesmaid and groomsmen portraits throughout the venue property. The fall colors were at their peak with the tree line bursting with golds and oranges, creating the perfect backdrop for every shot. Kleffner Valley was truly showing off!

Then, it was time. Guests gathered for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the valley’s breathtaking fall beauty. As the music began and the barn doors opened, revealing Katy to the crowd, Josh couldn’t hold back his emotions. Tears streamed down his face as he tried to wipe them away, stealing every glance he could as Katy walked toward him on her father’s arm. I t was the sweetest reaction. Nothing but pure love written all over him!

Josh’s brother officiated, making the ceremony feel deeply personal. Katy and Josh looked at each other like the rest of the world had disappeared! They said their vows with full hearts, sealed their promises with a kiss, and made their way back up the aisle as the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Hopkins! Guests cheered, clapped, and celebrated with so much excitement.

After the ceremony, we moved into family formals and then bridal party portraits. Their group was lively, fun, and full of genuine joy which always makes our job easy and so enjoyable.

Then came my favorite part of the day, bride and groom portraits! Katy and Josh shine so naturally together. Photographing their connection was effortless. They melt into each other in the sweetest ways, look at one another with such intention, and radiate happiness! Being around them feels like catching up with old friends, and we genuinely could have photographed them for hours.

Back inside the reception, guests cheered as Katy and Josh made their grand entrance down the staircase. They kicked things off with a celebratory ski shot that had everyone laughing, followed by their beautiful first dance as husband and wife! Dinner was served, and afterward, the dance floor came alive. Guests waved glowing party sticks in the air as their favorite songs filled the room, it was such a fun, energetic celebration!

Before the night ended, we stole Katy and Josh outside for one final portrait in front of the venue. It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable day with the sweetest couple!
