Mr. & Mrs. Kremer | Capital Bluffs Event Center Wedding

Liz and Jason gathered with family and friends on the last Saturday of 2019 to become husband and wife!  The day was unusually warm for late December and rain was forecasted for the majority of the day, but we had high hopes that the rain would take a break just long enough for us to document the portraits!  When we walked into Capital Bluffs Event Center in Jefferson City, it was like walking in a winter wonderland.  Everything looked so perfect and festive!  Christmas trees lined the stage to add the perfect ambiance to the event space.  Globe lights were strung across the large room making everything feel romantic.  We knew the evening ceremony would be absolutely beautiful!  To begin the day, we photographed all of Liz’s pretty bridal details.  Capital Bluffs has gorgeous large windows that let in an abundant amount of light, which makes photographing details a piece of cake!  Liz had a stunning bridal bouquet with deep shades of burgundy and pops of evergreen stems.  Everything was tied together perfectly.

The day was rolling along smoothly.  Jason’s mom helped him get ready for the special day.  She was all smiles as she helped her son into the elegant attire.  We loved capturing all the joy that was present in the room as getting ready portraits ensued.  Once Jason was officially ready, it was time to get Liz in her wedding gown.  With the help of her mom, she was fastened into her stunning gown in no time at all.  Delicate pieces of jewelry were added, and a cathedral length veil was set in place to finish off the look!  Liz’s mom became emotional when she glanced at the sight of Liz as a bride.  Next, we brought out all of Liz’s fabulous bridesmaids so she could do a big reveal with them.  As they each turned around to see a gorgeous bride standing in front of them, they all gasped and cheered in celebration!  Laughter filled the room as they all came in for a big group hug.  It was such a sweet moment to witness.

Liz wanted to share a special first look with her dad before seeing her groom.  We set her dad in place outside under the covered area and told him to patiently wait while we went to get Liz.  Liz came out and gracefully made her way to her dad and tapped him on the shoulder.  As he turned around, we was overcome with emotion and embraced Liz with the warmest most loving hug.  Liz’s mom stood nearby watching the sweet moment unfold and she couldn’t help but smile ear to ear.  This moment was so precious and full of so much joy!  Now the time had finally come for Liz to see her Jason!  The rain stopped for a bit just in time for them to share a first look.  Liz made her way to Jason and told him to turn around.  As Jason eagerly spun around to see his bride, he looked overjoyed!  He was so excited and giddy and immediately grabbled Liz and pulled her in for the sweetest hug.  These two are just cute as can be!

We headed downtown for the afternoon to take all of the main portraits, and luckily the rain held off for almost the entire time.  It would sprinkle here and there, but would quickly stop.  We were so blessed by the weather and couldn’t believe it was working out in our favor.   We ventured to two locations downtown for beautiful portraits.  Liz and Jason were giddy as could be as we took their portraits.  They are so in love and you can see that in the way they look at one another.  Jason always keeps Liz laughing and it’s the cutest thing!  Next we were joined by the bridal party and we had so much fun with them.  All of Liz and Jason’s friends were great and did whatever we asked them to do.  Everyone was so easy going and chill.  They truly made our job so easy.

It was nearing the ceremony time, so we traveled back to Capital Bluffs.  Family and friends had just begun settling in.  The lights were dimmed, soft tunes were playing and the bridal party members made their way down the aisle.  The officiant motioned for everyone to rise to their feet.  Liz looked so elegant and graceful as she was escorted down the aisle by her father.  Jason couldn’t stop smiling as Liz made her way to him.  A short but sweet ceremony was shared and a kiss between the new Mr. and Mrs. Kremer sealed the deal.  Everyone cheered in celebration as the happy couple made their way back down the aisle.

The remainder of the night was spent celebrating the newlyweds!  The night was full of heartfelt toasts, joy, laughter, and above all, a room full of love!  Liz and Jason are blessed with amazing family and friends and their love and support was evident all night long.  Liz and Jason enjoyed dancing the night away before officially heading out with an intimate sparkler exit.  Their day was perfect from beginning to end and we felt so lucky to be their documenting day one of their marriage.

Liz and Jason, Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to document your beautiful winter wedding day!  We wish you both the absolute best as you begin this new chapter together!  Bless your marriage!
