Mr. & Mrs. Wilbers | Capital Bluffs Event Center | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Anyone who knows me, knows that the 4th of July holiday is my favorite day of the year!  So when Jayme and Ryan first contacted us about their July 3rd wedding, we were so excited when we learned there would be a firework display at the end of the night!  Jayme and Ryan are quite honestly the sweetest pair.  When I photographed them back in the fall for their engagement session, it had me counting down the days to their summer wedding day.  These two are the most beautiful couple and their love for one another is adorable as can be.  The way Jayme and Ryan look at each other makes anyone around them smile.  You cannot help but feel pure love between these two when you’re in their presence.

Jayme and Ryan are high school sweethearts and have already spent seven years together, and their love is stronger than ever!  We have no doubt that together, Jayme and Ryan are going to do amazing things as a couple.  We love how easy going they both are.  Both Jayme and Ryan just want what’s best for the other.  Seeing these two and their endearing connection is adorable to witness.  On the morning of the wedding day, everything was running smoothly.  Jayme and all her bridesmaids were getting hair and makeup done as we photographed the bridal details.  Jayme looked so calm and excited for the day!  Everyone was sweet as can be to me and my team.  We loved how welcoming everyone was from the moment we arrived!

Ryan got ready with the help of his mom, dad, and best man Seth.  He was all smiles as they helped him with the finishing details.  Ryan’s parents looked so proud watching their son become a groom right before their eyes.  Ryan smirked over and over again as he read his love letter from his soon to be wife.  Once Ryan was tucked back away in his getting ready room, it was time for Jayme to get ready.  All her bridesmaids joined her out in the main area for some quick pajama shots before she would slip into her wedding gown.  You could tell the nerves were starting to set in for Jayme.  She kept repeating how nervous she was getting.

Jayme’s mom Kim helped her into the stunning wedding gown with a long delicate train.  Kim was so emotional throughout the entire time of getting ready.  She couldn’t stop smiling and hugging her sweet daughter.  Jayme’s sister Danielle also joined in helping with the finishing touches.  Once the veil was pushed into place, Jayme said, “Can I see myself?”  She went to the mirror and looked so happy as she saw herself as a bride.  Jayme looked stunning!  She made one beautiful bride.  She sat on the couch and read her love letter from Ryan and tried not to cry.

We were off to downtown to do a few portraits before the ceremony without Jayme and Ryan seeing each other.  They had one large bridal party but everyone made our job so easy and fun.  Just before heading back onto the bus, we stole Jayme away for the most gorgeous bridal portraits on the sprawling staircase at the capitol.  And let me tell you, we could not get enough of the perfection that took place.  Jayme just radiates with confidence and and beauty.   Next, Ryan and his groomsmen joined us for some portraits.  They were all great to work with.

We ventured to Wardsville for the ceremony to unite Jayme and Ryan in marriage.  They were married in a traditional catholic ceremony at St. Stanislaus church.  Once they were pronounced husband and wife, Jayme and Ryan sealed the deal with a sweet kiss before making their way back up the aisle.  The church was packed and even had people standing along the sides and in the back.  Everyone cheered in excitement as Jayme and Ryan dashed by them.

After family formal portraits at church, we headed back downtown for the remainder of bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits!  It was a beautiful day with perfect temperatures for July 3rd.  Jayme and Ryan are truly blessed with an amazing group of friends and family.  Everyone seemed to be having so much fun during portrait time.  It was time to head to the reception.  Before being announced in, we stole Jayme and Ryan away on a golf cart for a few portraits in the sunflower field her dad had planted on the property.  It’s such a gorgeous little patch of flowers with a perfect view of the venue in the background.

Now it was time to celebrate!  As Jayme’s cousin announced in the wedding party, all the guests began to get really hyped up.  The maid of honor and best man set off confetti canyons just before Jayme and Ryan were announced in.  As confetti fell to the ground, the new happy couple dashed through their guests and Ryan stopped in the middle of the crowd to give his wife the most romantic kiss.  Everyone was so loud and excited as the party got started.  Jayme and Ryan really know how to get a party started.  The night was full of so much dancing and fun.  They had both a DJ and a band to entertain their guests.  The dance floor was packed all night with everyone laughing and having a great time.

We ended the night with a BANG!  Which was perfect for the 4th of July weekend.  Jayme and Ryan’s immediate family and bridal party created a sparkler tunnel for them to run though.  After they exited the sparkler tunnel, Jayme’s cousin had a firework surprise.   Just off in the distance, a spectacular firework display filled the night sky as Jayme and Ryan watched and guests cheered in the background.  It was truly the perfect ending to the most amazing day.  This is one wedding day we will surely be talking about for years to come.  Everything was absolutely beautiful and so much love filled the day!

Jayme and Ryan, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special day!  We loved celebrating you two and your love story.  We cannot wait to follow along for years to come and see all that you both will accomplish.  Wishing you two all the best and so much happiness in your marriage!  Enjoy some of our favorites from the day.  Many, many more to come!
